  3. i'd love to be there with you in the country!! remember when they used to say knee high by the fourth of july about corn in a field? nowadays we notice around here that the corn tends to be about shoulder length by the 4th and the corn in your picture is quite high as well. have a wonderful weekend!

  4. I miss those long peaceful country vistas! So beautiful. And so green it's pretty brown around here except where it's irrigated. Hey we're only 100F today. Maybe it will green up again!

  5. what a beautiful area you're in! it reminds me of my grandpa's farm in wabash, indiana....he had corn fields, too, and i have such wonderful memories of summer vacations there! :)

  6. Looks like that could be a road right by my Grandpa's or Aunt Ruth's...anyway...I found you through Tish's blog. I was in G-burg over Memorial Day (born and raised there back a ways. I have some serious roots in Kiowa Co). I bought a pair of your earrings at the Big Well. I have really enjoyed them, and kept meaning to look up your etsy. So Tish's blog reminded me. She and I have been friends since kindergarten!
