Mr. Hawk -- This is what I saw Saturday afternoon when I arrived home. Mr. Hawk has become very brave and the guineas seem to think he is a friend. What goes on when I am not here? Mr. Hawk has picked off 3 guineas this week and it is only Tuesday. Why have my birds become so friendly with him?

Oh dear! Mr. Hawk is absolutely stunning but it would be nice if he wouldn't eat his trusting cousins!
ReplyDeleteOh my! What can you do? So sorry for you and your birds.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, Debbie, so sorry to hear this!!! How terrible! Guess the cats aren't so much help with a hawk. Poor guineas...

ReplyDeletemr. hawk is beautiful, but i'm so sorry to hear about your guineas!
ReplyDeleteI do love hawks and watching them soar and even dive for prey. But it is an unfortunate thing that they are predators of domestic birds as well. I am so sorry about your guineas. I know how attached one can get to farm yard animals.
